Application Support Consultant
Location: Northfield, Birmingham
A vacancy exists within the Software Support department for an Application Support Consultant, to work 40 hours per week. The role will be based at our Northfield office in Birmingham.
Salary: £18,000 per annum
Job Purpose: You will provide an efficient telephone support service to our customers, to assist them to maximise their usage of our Dealer Management Systems (DMS). You will need to meet agreed service levels and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
- Receiving external calls from customers and providing an efficient support service.
- Undertaking specific projects as required.
- Maintaining/updating internal support notes.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of product knowledge and new enhancements/programs.
- Providing in-depth analysis into problems where specialist knowledge is required.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent telephone manner and ability to communicate clearly at all levels
- Able to solve problems quickly and thoroughly
- Reliable and able to work under pressure
- A strong team player that is able to work on their own initiative when required
- A degree in any discipline is desirable
- Knowledge of the Motor trade is an advantage, but not essential
