Field Engineer
Location: Worcester
Job Purpose: As a Field Engineer you will attend customer sites in and around the specified area and provide an efficient repair service to any broken down computer hardware. You will also take responsibility for reloading software to the restored items.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identifying faults and repairing computer equipment
- Installing customers’ software and providing desk side support
- Provide a high level of customer care
- Completing all paperwork accurately and on time.
- Generating a high productivity rate.
- Taking part in the “out of hours” standby rota
- Liaising with senior engineers and management.
Skill Set Required:
The successful candidate will have:
- Full driving licence.
- 3-4 years previous experience of repairing/working with hardware is desirable.
- Knowledge of software is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Accommodating of carrying out 24/7 standby cover on rota basis.
- Must be able to work on own initiative.
