Sales Administrator
Location: Northfield, Birmingham

A vacancy exists within the Sales Administration department for an Administrator to work 40 hours per week. The role will be based at our office in Northfield, Birmingham.
Salary: Dependent on experience
Job Purpose: To work as part of a dedicated team, providing support and assistance to the Sales Administration Supervisor. To assist with the day-to-day activities of the Sales and Contracts Administration Team. Each team member has their own customer base to administrate.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of legal contracts and amendments
- To produce proposals and other pre-sales related output and documentation
- Ensure that the pre-sales validation processes are adhered to
- Perform proposal/order tracking on all sales-related documents
- Process contracts upon receipt, ensuring all relevant related activities are performed (inputting, copying, order confirmation to customers, filing, copy contract distribution)
- Assist in the liaison with the Sales Department and the Legal Department on prospective bids to ensure their compliance with company commercial and technical standards prior to document creation
- Maintain activity records and management information
- Provide structured feedback to other in-house departments in relation to anomaly issues
Skills and Experience:
The successful candidate will have:
- An outgoing personality and be able to work in an existing team
- Good interpersonal skills and telephone manner
- A reasonable understanding of MS Office packages, Word and Excel
- The ability to collate and report appropriate management information
Special Conditions
This role is a maternity leave cover and will last for six months.
